Evinrude 55 no spark...............

I recently purchased a boat with a 1968 Evinrude model 55873-R on it. I have compression I just don't have a spark I am new to boating for the most part. I don't know a whole lot about outboard motors and if anyone can help me on this I would appreciate it. I replaced the plugs it has new plug wires if anyone could help me on this I would appreciate it immensely.
