evinrude 60hp water leak

Hi everyone,i have a 1985 60hp 2cylinder evinrude,i went to change spark plugs,and i found water on the top spark plug,i done a compression check and found the top cylinder to be down 30psi from the bottom cylinder,so i got my workshop manual out and removed the cylinder head,found a hole in head gasket.taken a closer look at the cylinder lineing, where the water goes around in the power head.i found a bit of corrosion on the outer cylinder lineing on the top,this has casued a few small groves on the top of the outer lineing and the inner lineing whitch is leting water pass between head gasket and powerhead leting water in to the top piston, can anyone help with how to repair this? thank you all leigh

Post a picture so we can see exactly what you've got. It's possible that it could be fixed by welding (very carefully) and machining flat.
