Bought a trailer/cabin in Delaware and I got a boat/motor with the deal. I posted earlier re: motor now after a little playin around I have found that the steering isnt functioning correctly. It turns to the left(after a little grease) but will not turn very far to the right. Im new to boating and and I am not sure of the names of everything but here it goes. On the steering cable where it ties into the motor there seems to be a threaded connection. Would removing this nut and lubing the cables help at all or is the problem under the dash in the steering box? If lubrication is the fix do I use a graphite or a WD-40 type lube or none of the above?
