hi folks,
Just picked up a rude 70 hp and it stalls at 3/4 throttle after fuel
loss up and down til it quits. yup, the ball pump handle gets soft,
and sometimes it helps to squeeze it to keep it going...
so first, i see in the forum that many folks bypass the vro portion
of the fuel pump and i think that is the case here as prev owner told me to
premix the fuel. But i think the pump is sucking air...
So my question is how do i seal the oil input, or where is it?
Do i need to take it off the engine to see it?

Also i cant find the tag to check my year ,sn,and model, where is it?
thanks for help,
john

the pump should be next to the carborator, just follow the fuel line. the oil side hose should be cut, and blocked off.
look on block for this
