This beast fires but will not Start. It has a reconditioned power head recently installed, great compression, carbs rebuilt, new power packs, plugs, plug wires, coils, new fuel pump. Test spark with tester and getting plenty of fire on all 4. Bypassed fuel tank with external tank with fresh mix 50:1. Top carb loads up and drips fuel when choked, Motor cranks strong begins to fire up then dies, will not fire again until 4 or 5 more attempts then back fire's. Probably timing, have set sync per manual as best as I can. Ohm from pinA/common to pinA/common on port and starboard time base connetion, manual says should read infinity, I get know reading. Can a timer base be rebuilt and what should I look for on the base to determine if it is actually faulty.
