evinrude 85 horse water pump

Hey Folks,<br /> I hope I am not being a pest about this water pump, but I have hit another snag. I have a 1977 evinrude 85 horse. The water pump housing, impeller and rebuild kit finally arrived, but my manual hasn't yet. I hope you can help. The kit included impeller, seal and water pipe grommets which all matched my old ones and installed fine. My problem is there is a third grommet. It does not match the old one that is on the very top of the housing. Inside diameter is the same as the drive shaft. Any one have any ideas on where this grommet goes? Thanks for the help.
