Recently, when putting the boat in the water, the battery was dead. I switched to the trolling motor and started it back up. Then I put the starting battery back on, the warning buzzer went off. I have checked the all the usual items, intakes, sensor leads, etc. The warning is on even when just the key is on. I even hooked up the horn straight to the battery to verify that it is working correctly. Any ideas where to go now?

Disconnect the senor leads and see if it stops. If so replace the sensor. Please dont tell me you swapped the batteries while the engine was still running??!! Thats a NO NO!
