Evinrude 9.9 Control Swap

I have a 1975 Evinrude 9.9 and a Simplex dual lever control box. What I'd like to do is swap it for a single lever (dual action) control but I'm not sure which cables to use. On the outboard side I'll probably need universals and use the OMC connection kit. Where I'm stumped is on the control side.
