Evinrude Big Twin question

Anybody know if a Motor Swivel Housing Assembly 303885 for a 30 Hp 1956 Big Twin Evinrude Outboard motor will fit a 1954 25 hp Big Twin Evinrude Outboard? I wrecked a guy's motor and need to fix it for him. Thanks!

I don't think so....it wont be a direct match, although swapping more than just the swivel housing MAY work. Let me go down and look at some motors to see. I may be wrong.

Been a while but didn't the 54 have a throttle cable set up? and the 56 had the throttle rod/gear?
