Re: evinrude carb

This model has a fixed hi-speed jet. It is not adjustable. You could get different sizes for certain circumstances, high elev, etc.

Re: evinrude carb

I have having a missing problem, at mostly top end speeds, running lean I suspect, I have pretty much ruled out anything else. I am at 2500ft. It seems to run alot better at 1300-1500ft. What else could it be?

This could be lost of things, could be a combination. Probably crud in the carb, wrong float level, sucking air thru a fitting or gasket. Could be ignition.

If ya think it's running lean, give the choke a bump when you think it's leaning out. If it picks up, you've narrowed the problem down. It may need rejetting or the carbs may just need a good cleaning.

c/6

Hooty
