Will a manual for a 1976 Evinrude 35hp (Models 35602, 35603) suffice for repairing a 1977 35hp (model 35702)? Were these 1976 and 1977 35hp models similar?
The manuals I have show that the 76 model uses a point ignition and 77 on use electronic. Other than that they are in the same "family". I do not know of other specific differences. 1975 and earlier are a different engine family.
