Hi all i went to f&Q couldn't find info on how to read my model # it is as follows 751822541 also it in great shape but i cannot pull the fly wheel ???
if its in netural the prop will spin in FWD it wont and in rev it wont good i guess but the fly wheel is stuck so i need to know the year so i can get a manuel i guess.... Ok i think i found out its a 1955 if im right let me know please. And any thoughts on the stuck fly wheel????

Yes its a 1955 7.5 hp. Do you mean to say the powerhead won't turn over? If so, you need to remove the lower unit and try it again. To remove the lower unit you must remove the powerhead. Its very easy. Just 7 screws hold it to the midsection. Once you have the lower unit separated test both the powerhead and the lower unit.

The model # is 7518. It is a 1955. 24:1 mixture tcw-3 oil.

I am in the middle of a 54 7.5hp and found the same thing. You are the 3rd in a week on here if it is the same cause. There is a spring type shock absorber that can break and make it really hard to turn over the power head. I pulled the powerhead on mine to remove the lower unit, and the powerhead turned freely again.
