Is it okay to use Evinrude gear lube in a volvo penta outdrive? The Evinrude container isn't marked with the viscosity. I know I need to use 75w 90 though. Any thoughts?
With the cost of either repairing or replacing a volvo drive, why would you want to even think about using some leftover outboard gearlube you have laying around.
You haven't even listed what Volvo drive you have, and there are lots of different ones that take different types of lubes.
