Evinrude Hp, model and year?

I have an Evinrude with the model tag missing. Cowling has no emblems but was told it was a 150. Serial#J0001007. Can model be found from this info. OMC couldn't help. They said their database didn't go back that far. Somebody help....I need to get parts and without a model that can be hard.

chargerman,Look on the engine block for a silver welsh plug.It should have a model no. on it.
