Evinrude/Johnson bolt pattern

Does anyone know if a johnson/evinrude 70hp outboard motor has the same bolt pattern as a 1993 40hp johnson. Thinking and swapping the 40hp johnson with a 70hp johnson and dont want to drill new bolting holes.

The standard outboard mounting bolt pattern has been around since the 1960 models.

So the 40hp and a 70hp johnson can be mounted using the same bolt holes. I was going to put a mercury on and noticed it was alot smaller than the johnson bolt holes.
