evinrude/johnson manual

Would a johnson service manual be the same as an evinrude manual. I have an evinrude and have only been able to find a johnson manual also I am not sure this post is in the right place or not.

some OLD models and some current models NO.

For your 1979 140 HP Evinrude,it is the same manual.

Thanks ezeke. I bought it and it was 10.00 cheaper than the johnson I found.
