I have recently purchased this Evinrude with model # 3014-06441. Could someone give me the year and the fuel/oil mixture?
Thanks

Great motor, I've got ( 2 ) 3012's , both 1953's. I run 16:1 in them, 'cuz that's what the sticker says. They must have changed mix by '55, the above post is the expert. What ya gonna run 'em on?

The 16:1 sticker calls for 30W motor oil, Hoss. OMC changed it to 24:1 when TCW was specified.

I have a 14 foot canoe that we use to duck hunt the marsh. It will push it full quite well.
Thanks

I also have two. One a 1966 and the other a 1967. The '66' is the fold up model---Cool!

Best engine ever built, bar none.

Great little engine. Quiet and when right, run as smooth as a sewing machine.

Thank you all for the responses. I ran it yesterday and it ran smooth and quiet. I guess some things do get better with age.
