Evinrude Manual

I have a 1979 55hp Evinrude. I have heard that these are exactly the same as the Johnson's. Now my question is. There's this guy willing to sell me a Johnson OEM manual for a 1979 55hp Johnson. Are the manuals the same? The only reason I ask is that I can get this manual at a really good price.

The engines should be identical. Grab the manual.

I will surely grab the manual. I just want to say thank you to all the helpful people here at iboats. I have learned alot from you all and hopefully will continue to do so.
