Evinrude powerhead

has anybody here had trouble with the powerhead?,l have a 2001 Bombardier unit (225 Evinrude Ficht) aftear 300 hours the no 6 piston failed,there was no fault found anywhere,so it was replaced. Aftear 20 hrs it went again (same fault) a different engineer came and told me the fuel line was to small from the tank !!! although it had been running fine for the last 300 hrs !,now i am being told it is my fault and the warranty is no good,has anybody had any problems? and does anybody know any high ups in Bombardier,l think l will have to contact somebody in the USA cos in GB l am getting no help

Try not to get to depressed when you go to the red Search at the top of the page & enter "ficht" as a search arguement. There are over 200 posts for these motors.

it is depressing when a big franchise,treats me an idiot,telling me that it is my fault,although every single bit of work has been carried out by a appointed engineer,and l have not touched or altered anything,and the engine worked perfectly well for a year,blows a piston,gets a new powerhead,then just 25hrs later it goes again. But thanks anyway
