I am having problems with motor( 1963? model) jumping out of gear. I have inspected and tighted the shift rod coupling that was loose. Now, even when trying to start it seems to fall into gear (forward and reverse)and will not hold neutral. <br /><br />Is there a shift rod adjustment? Or do I have an issue with the shifting fork/lower unit?
