Evinrude Sportwin 10025A confirm fuel mix...

Hi All,

Another quick post just if someone could please confirm the fuel/oil ratio mix for my motor please? Evinrude Sportwin serial NO. 10025A which I am pretty confident is a 1962 10HP.

I started it today and its smoking a hell of a lot running on 24:1, carb isn't tuned though.

Have seen conflicting reports of which year it switched to 50:1, so a confirmation would be super.

Any replies to my earlier thread also much appreciated!

The switch took place in 1964, edd. Your engine requires 24:1 and it is normal to smoke a lot when stationary.
