I believe the tilt trim was added after the fact so the model number is no help. It is on a 1974 Evinrude 85 HP. Can anyone help me determine a part number for the motor and/or motor and reservoir? Thanks in advance.

That appears to be a tilt only unit.------You look this all up on various websites.----Look for and click on ----Accessories-------- for your model year to find what you need.

I wish it were that easy! There is no accessory or tilt/trim listed for a 1974 Evinrude 85 HP (that I can find anyway) I can find some for the 115 HP in 1974 but even it has 2 different motors. I ordered one and will hope that it is correct when it comes in.

Well it is easy as can be --------In a matter of seconds one can look this up on ---Shop.evinr###.com--------Outboard accessories for 1974.-------Many seems to give up if they can not find it in one click.-----It takes 2 or 3 clicks in this case.---Both the tilt only and the trim / tilt parts are clearly listed here.

Be sure to post back on how it goes. My 1977 70 hp has the power 'tilt' something like yours. I think they are not any kind of 'repair' kits being made anymore :( Mine is still working fine but you never know when something so old will die...

I was able to find it. Thanks a ton! I had no idea there was a separate accessories page. Looks like I ordered the correct motor!
