Evinrude Yachtwin 3 HP asking what year manufactured ?

I have inherited an Evinrude Yachtwin 3 HP outboard.
It is an external tank
Motor Serial # 3836AG572347.
I can not find a model number on the serial # plate.
The motor cover is white with blue stripes on the side and red at the stern of the cover.
It is on or off and for reverse you rotate the motor head 180 degrees.
The motor is blue with a white propeller.
Could someone tell me what year is this motor ?
Is it Canadian manufacture (plate says Outboard Marine Corporation Peterborough) or USofA ?

Since this is a 43 year old motor I think I will refurbish and put it in my "Man Cave" with a plaque.
When I was a kid the owner used it to take me fishing.

FYI, 3836A is the model number. The rest of the string is the serial number.

You asked for the year of manufacture. Since it is a 1968 model it was probably manufactured and maybe even sold in 1967. That is pretty much the same practice as with autos. For example, 2012 models have been selling since about last June.

The last year of the 3hp. 1969 was the year they bumped up to 4hp. Great motors. You'll love it.

I don't know if this going to help you much, but it gives a good deal of information about those little motors. I enjoyed reading his story and he provides a good deal of information with pictures.
