evinrune spark problem

1970 40 h.p. twin, two plugs ,one carb, it is getting spark to one plug fine,,,but the other plug,,it sparks then gets weaker ,then stops then starts getting stronger again ,,so it is getting weak spark to one plug,,,i checked the spark plug wire,,it seems ok,,, is this the coil or points??? tad

Tad....swap the ignition coils and see if the problem changes cylinders. If it does, replace the coil.<br /><br />If not, go to the points.<br /><br />Keep us posted.

Don't over look the condensers.
