Evminrude 1997 Ocean Pro

Can anyone tell wha's good or bad about this engine. Thinking about purchasing an old 1985 boston whaler with this type of engine.

My brother has a 175 Ocean Pro around 2000 model year(i'm not sure exactly) . He has had good luck with it and he does close to zero maintenace on it. I changed his plugs and decarbed the engine last week because it was starting hard, but other than that he has had no problems. The Boston Whaler on the other hand is another story.
