Excessive Smoking on a 2001 Mercury 225 EFI saltwater series outboard

I have a 2001 Mercury Saltwater Series 225 EFI that smokes alot, I mean alot. I know it's normal when it's cold but once warmed up it still leaves a good sheen behind the motor and smokes a fair amount, almost like it is not burning all of the oil. I am using Mercury's premium plus 2 stroke oil and the motor runs just fine. What do you guys think? I am in a marina and I hate to smoke out my neighbors. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas.<br /><br />Mark
