All, I have a 2005 Johnson 25 (J25TELSOM) short shaft. I have the long shaft that was orignally on the engine. In the process of coverting back to long. I have all but the two nuts below the powerhead removed. The two nuts are attached to studs that are attached to the top of the exhaust housing. Before I bend an offset box wrench to allow it to fit in the small area, are there any other tricks to getting these loose? Thanks in advance.

Bend the box end wrench. OMC made a special wrench for this but it's just cheaper to bend the wrench.
