exhaust bellow 86 3.0 omc cobra drive

I got my new exhaust bellows today and the new one has 15 holes in the bottom of it and my old one does not !!! Wrong part or is this some update thing. I ordered online so you guys are my only help !! thanks Riverrunt

Its normal to have holes in it. Look closer...your old one may have slits in it.
