exhaust boot

need help installing exhaust boot on mercruiser 149 i/o. is there a way of installing the boot without taking off the drive? And does the shifter cable run through this boot?

Not Really....... It's Much Easier to pull the drive..........<br />

Nope....... It has it's Own Boot...........
