What is best to use loctite or anti-seize? I already installed with the anti-seize, but was just curious.......

Hey

Did my nephews with Anti-Seize. Proper torque will hold them in there fine you don't need loctite to hold them in. Just want the never seize to help aid the removal next time you have to get in there.

Chad

You re used rusted bolts? How bad were they?

Iv'e re used stuff before but it was lightly rusted at the head. I cleaned it up with a soft wire wheel on a dremel. And cleaned the threads super good before reusing.

Many prefer to use the Merc Perfect Seal gasket sealant on the threads of all external bolts, it lube the threads making for a better torque reading and seals the threads from the effects of oxidation.

Perfect seal is sort of comparable to Av-perm.
