last week I removed my outdrive and noticed something wrapped around the shifting lever on the outdrive. It was black plastic all melted and distorted and un recognizable. after reading for hours on this wonderful site I decided to look at the exhaust Y pipe, as my motor is out already, I could easily see both flaps were missing. So, I removed the Y pipe and dumped out one plastic/rubber flap, 2 bolts, 4 cap screws all inside the Y and the other flap was in the outdrive. Now I want to replace the flaps before I put the engine back in OBV, but cannot locate them anywhere. This is a 1990 omc 4.3, any help would be appreciated. or if anybody has fabricated them before i could use a heads up.
