back in the 70's, boat engines had "log type" manifolds.<br /><br />these later evolved into the center riser type manifold which presumably flows better than the old log type.<br /><br />a.) how much hp can be gained by an exhaust manifold replacement?<br /><br />b.) which oem or replacement manifold will flow the best ie which will allow the highest power output for a cast iron manifold on identical engines?

a) Little or None.... It's not about HP.... You'd have to go to Headers for much Improvement........<br /><br />b) I hear that the GLMs have some Port seperation built into them........<br /><br />Again,.... The HP #s are Minimal..........No Cheap HorsePower to be found here.......
