exhaust hose ?

just finished my side exit exhaust everything looks good but i used the thin wall 4" hose where it connects to my tips it has a slight crimp due to the bend my ? is the crimp is from top to bottom not side to side will this be ok i fired it up and ran great plenty of water exiting just wanting to make sure that this slight restriction is ok

Ayuh,.... Got a Picture,..??

Leakage is an Issue,... I kinda doubt Restriction will be...
The manifolds are the worst Choke point in marine exhausts...

will try to get a pic i figured since you have a 4" hose and say half was crimped at one point it should be ok cause you dont see 4" exhaust on autos a average of 2" just do t want to be choking the engine down thanks for the info this is a very helpful forum

You don't want to start comparing auto with boat. Autos also don't run water through the exhaust to keep it cool.

i agree i will try to put a clamp around it to try to open it up as much as possible

you should have used wire reinforced hose in the first place - its kinda spendy but the right way to do it
