I have a 1987 Citation Cuddy with a Volvo Penta 131a and it appears to have developed a leak (a steady fast drip) where the transom meets the engine. I jacked/blocked the bow way up and filled the boat with water figuring water leaks in, it should leak out. when the water reached the top of the oil pan, it finally started leaking out of the exhaust port at the bottom of the lower unit. I am new to boating, do I need to pull the lower unit? If I do, what am I looking for?
