exhaust manifold for 250 inline six

i got my eye on a exhaust manidold for my inline six. it say half antifreeze half water. are they any good? thanks ken

thats all i know so far. it off an 1980s something mercruiser and has a coolant resevoir,

OK,


I'll go out on a limb here.....you're looking BUYING? at a USED manifold that was used on an engine that has a closed cooling system And you want to know if that particular one is any good?

Well,

if it's not cracked, corroded, or damaged.......It's probably "good".


There's really no reliable way to determine all that for sure.

So you assume a rather large risk.

I would buy a new manifold if I needed one for mine. I wouldn't risk destroying the engine on ANY used one.
