exhaust manifold swap

As some of you might have read in my other posts, I just ordered a pre-1985 350 long block to replace my 283 in my boat. the 283 was a 1965-67 model with the OLD log style manifolds that just ran straight back then down into the middle unit (no riser)...

I am looking to go to a thru-hull exhaust (just for the sound and look, thats all, if your wondering).. Can I swap out my straight log style for the log style that is more square looking and had the riser near the back of the manifold??

Thanks

Re: exhaust manifold swap

Ayuh,... The motor won't care,...

The T-stat, 'n related plumbin' will need reworkin' though...

Course, yer designin' yer own stuff, everything downstream from there....

Thru-hulls are alot Easier, with center riser manifolds.... ;)
