No, but you need to replace the manifolds & risers.....does this mean that I'm likely to have engine block rust-through or close to it also?

Your OP said "rusted through". If the manifold was indeed rusted through, the riser would not be far behind.So I got into this again tonight, and I found the exhaust manifolds did indeed look to be cracked/repaired from freezing damage, and not rust through, like I'd thought. I can find no evidence of riser damage, or block damage, none.
Why would I need to replace the risers also if they don't show signs of damage? Or was this just an assumption that you guys made from my post?
