Exhaust Manifolds OMC Stinger - Cobra

I have a 1986 OMC 4.3 liter engine with the Stinger outdrive, will the OMC 4.3 liter Cobra exhaust manifold fit for the Stinger modle?

I don't think they will...not sure though.
Do you have the one piece manifolds? Post up a picture it would help.
Its its a 86 model boat but has a stringer drive then the motor and drive is a 1985.
1986 was the first year of the Cobra drive but not uncommon for them to put the previous year setup in the boat.Gets rid of old inventory.

1985 4.3 Stringer:
0984221 EXHAUST MANIFOLD, Port
0984222 EXHAUST MANIFOLD, Stbd

1986 4.3 Cobra:
0984221 EXHAUST MANIFOLD, Port
0984222 EXHAUST MANIFOLD, Stbd

same manifolds! - i'm kinda surprised seeing as the rest of the exhaust is so different from the stringer to the Cobra Y pipe setup..

I think 4.3 stayed the same to 89' or 90'. Not sure.

Same with the 3.0 was the same till 89 or l 90'. 2.5 used the same manifold and risers.

Motors were not what changed they went to a "modern design" with the cobra drive,coupler,adapter housing.

The 2.5 was dropped and they came out with the infamous ford 2.3.

But kept the workhorse 3.0 chevy.

Really Howard...thought it may have some old log style manifolds or something.... He may want to look at ebasicpower for the Osco replacement manifolds then....

I put a osco on mine,but we know the glm are having trouble.

Are they the original one piece "Batwing" type manifolds? Thats what I had on my 86' Citation cuddy 4.3V6, if so they're probably the same

Those part numbers Howard posted are the bat wing style..
