Exhaust tube vs. Bellows

I just finished installing a 350 mag in my 94 bayliner 2050 and was wondering how much more "noise" the exhaust tube is. I like the sound of thru hull exhaust but after watersports and just cruising up and down the lake its gotta get old. Captain's call is too much for me, plus space is cramped enough. I couldn't find much on search. Also will my vented prop still be effective? Thanks

So, when drive is trimmed out then it would be as loud as thru hull, but still have the option of trimming in when I need to be quiet?

No, if it's trimmed out that far your drive is no longer able to push you at anything over slow-no-wake. In the operational trim range, you'll notice little difference. It'll never be even close to as loud as a thru-transom system. It's a single small opening compared to two very large ones.

The tube was designed to relieve a little bit of back pressure when running near WOT. At idle some exhaust escapes around the tube and causes a little extra noise. At WOT, you won't notice any difference.
