After much deliberation I am going with 2 Group 31 Lead-Acid batteries for the boat.
I am looking at the Exide Commercial Group 31 which has 925 CCA and 160 minutes of reserve.
I can get them for $100 at the local tractor supply company and will run 2. One for starting and one for stereo.
I would love to go with an AGM, but I just struggle justifying the cost and don't want to have to buy a new charger, worry about my motor being able to fully charge them or worry about my ACR linking up or staying linked up and draining the battery.
I can get a similar interstate for $108.
Thoughts on the exide commercial batteries.
