Ok. I'm waiting for my alignment bar to get here so I built a pressure tester and pressure tested the outdrive tonight. It has 125 hours on it and looks and performs like new. Never had a problem. I replaced the water pump, face seal, and quad ring. Tonight at the first pressure test, it would slowly bleed from 15 psi to about 10 and sit there. I tried it a couple more times with the same resutls. I got out the water bottle and some soap to start testing all seal locations and even my testing equipment. When I started pumping it back up, at the 13 psi mark, I heard something going on inside the drive. Almost like something moving on it's own. It lasted for about 3 seconds. Now it is holding 15 psi steady and has not dropped one bit. It has been an hour now and it is still holding strong. I sprayed the shift shaft lever, yoke seal, fill holes, everywhere and no bubbles. I turned the drivesaft, output shaft, shift lever and no pressure drops. I was meticulous in putting this back together, so now I am scared that I released Davy Jones from the locker....Any thoughts?
