Experience with 2000 Nissan 40hp NS40D2

I'm considering buying a new used motor. Anybody have experience either good or bad with this particular model? Are parts available if needed?

Here in Minnesota for whatever reason we see very few Nissan or Tohatsu branded motors out on the water. Few local dealers seem to carry them. Looking for some advise from others more knowledgable than me with these motors. Thanks in advance for the help.

Solid, mature design, auto-mixing, 3 carbs, more apparent low-end torque than many competing motors of the same size.
Replaced by the TLDI series, which is fuel-injected.
Water pump kit available, carb kit available, props available, LU seals available.
