Extended Channels

I,ve heard guys talking about extended channels in marine radio's, are they as busy as the ones we use, and how do you get them.

I'm just Guessing, But, I think you're talking about SSB... Or Single-Side-Band... The radios to talk on it are about $1000. on Up....
