I'm trying to overhaul all the external lines on my 1980 150hp black max. I'm getting to the cooling lines and for some reason I think the previous owner had it wrong as I am comparing it to the schematic in my manual. If anyone has this similar motor could you please be kind enough to send me pictures of a correct setup. For instance in my manual the poppet valve should feed into the tell tale and on my motor it is not so. What would best help would be pics of the port and starboard sides of block and also a pic of the heads where t stats go. a lot of thanks in advance. O and please if you modified your routing of these hoses disregard this I'm trying to get back to standard configurations.
