so I'm doing my first ever outboard water pump and there are 4 extra parts in the box, two yellow washer type gaskets and two small o-rings, I didn't take any of these off of the original, I don't really see them in the microfiche parts explosion, I'm assuming they are for a different model since the pump kit fits a wide array of engines. mine is an 86 50hp three cylinder. on the same topic the microfiche shows two seals going into the upper housing where the outlet line comes in from the powerhead. they are not in the kit it seems any ideas?
