exuast question

is there supposed to be exhaust smoke coming through the prop. don't know much about motors. its a 2 stroke merc 650.

If it is a through the prop exhaust then yes.

Except for the Quickie racing lower units, all Mercs built in the last 50 years or so have had prop exhaust. So do most other motors these days, except for the smallest.
