F350 Command Link

Helping a friend that just mounted a used 2008 F350 on his boat.

Friend just called asking where the command link from the tach connects to at the motor.

He thought it would be this connector but the connectors doesn?t match.

That connector is located in front of the motor in this area.

Where would the command link connector plug into?

If you can't find a connector that match's, the connectors may have changed.You might have to buy a new cable or adaptor?
Better find it in the factory service manual.

Found the answer...connector is at the control box.
