Factory service manual coverage

I just received my brand new 1995 factory service manual and accessories manual, problem is it covers 1996 models, I guess I should have known but I figured my motor is a '95 so I'd need a '95 manual. Should I just keep it? Will the specs be the same? My motor is J115GLEOC '95 115 60o thanks

I used my buddies 1998 manual for my 1995 175 hp 60° looper for 2 years before I got my manual. Never saw any difference. Part #'s may change or be superceded, but for one year difference I wouldn't sweat it if you can't swap it. From 93 to 98 very little changed except omc's reputation.
