Faded Camper top restoration

I have a once red burgandy canvas camper top on my 26' cruiser which is in perfect condition other than its fading. Is it possible to colour/dye or any other way bring back the colour? There must be a way to pretty it up for a few more years as it has no rips and never leaks unlike many other tops I've had or known of.

You can either re-dye it or spray it. I have seen the materials for both but have not actually performed either operation. I have a faded red mooring cover, so I feel your pain.
