Fair price for 1995 Nissan 8 HP ?

What is a fair price for 1995 Nissan 8 HP, manual start? Let's assume it has been well maintained and is in good condition. I checked www.nadaguides.com, and it gave a range of $310 to $370. Seller is asking about TWICE that price. Is www.nadaguides.com a good source for prices? Any other good price guides?<br /><br />THANKS

I have found that NadaGuides is always low on used motors. The motor you are questioning I would say is worth $500-600.

$6 sounds right.<br /><br />They have it, you want it.<br />The fair price is the one both of you are willing to accept at the time and place.
